Padma Purana
The Padma Purana is one of the 18 major Puranas. It is named after the divine lotus that appeared from Vishnu's navel. Padma simply means lotus in sanskrit. In the Puranas, a lotus blooms from Lord Vishnu’s navel, and Lord Brahma (the Creator) is born atop it.
